How to Claim NEA’s Hawkers’ Productivity Grant (HPG)

Table of Contents

Following the approval of the HPG grant application and receiving the Letter of Offer (LOO) from NEA, the following would be the steps in order to submit the claims.

Step 1: Accepting the Letter of Offer

Step 1.1: The applicant must return the signed and completed original copy of LOO to NEA within 30 days from the date of LOO.
If you received LOO on 2 June 2021, you must return the letter latest by 2 July 2021.
Step 1.2: Purchase the Equipment within 1 month from the date of LOO.
If you received LOO on 2 June 2021, you must purchase the equipment latest by 2 July 2021.
Step 1.3: Use the equipment for at least a month before submitting a disbursement request.
If you purchased the equipment on 2 July 2021, it has to be used for at least a month until 2 August 2021.

Step 2: Making Your Claim

Step 2.1: The applicant must submit the disbursement request at the end of the qualifying period which is 2 months from the date of LOO.

For example, if you received LOO on 2 June 2021, you must submit the claim on 2 August 2021.

Step 2.2: The applicant must submit the disbursement request with the following documents:
  1. Disbursement Request Form, duly completed and signed
  2. Original Direct Credit Authorisation (DCA) Form, duly completed and signed
  3. Original itemised receipt and invoice
Step 2.3: All relevant documents must be sent in original hardcopy, either by post, or hand delivered to the below address:

Timeline of An Application

The following is the typical timeline of an application and subjected to the completeness of the documents required to process the grant.

Within 2 Months

Application and Approval of HPG Grant

Apply the HPG Grant Online.
Document Required:

1) SIGNALGRYD’s Quotation
2) SIGNALGRYD Brochure
3) Applicant’s Copy of Bank Book or E-Statement

Within 2 Months
Within 1 Month

Accepting the Letter of Offer (LOO)

Do the following within 1 month (30 Days) from the date of LOO:
1) Return the signed original hard copy of LOO to NEA.
2) Purchase the Equipment.

Within 1 Month
At least 1 Month

Holding Period

Use the purchased equipment for at least a month.

At least 1 Month
At the End of 2 Months

Making Your Claim

The applicant must submit the disbursement request at the end of the qualifying period which is 2 months from the date of LOO.

At the End of 2 Months
Within 30 Working Days

Receiving the HPG Grant

Receive the Grant reimbursement in applicant’s bank account.
